Midlife can be a really challenging time, especially for mothers. It’s the ultimate juggling act, a combination of caring for kids, caring for aging parents, working, overseeing the family and/or home, managing relationships, taking care of yourself (often the last priority), and understanding the shifts in your beautiful, glorious body and all its hormones.

Gone are the days of the passive wellness routine of your youth. Now is the time to take the reins and decide what direction you want your health and wellbeing going. What can you give “future you” today in order to live life the way you want right now and in the years ahead?

Client Testimonial

I had never worked with a coach before and I’m so glad Margery was my first experience. She’s kind, thorough, thoughtful and patient. She really listened to all of my scattered thought. She helped me focus by narrowing down what I wanted for myself. Prior, I didn’t know and felt like I just rode around in circles. She gave me the tools I needed to achieve my goals and I’m so thankful to work with her.

About Margery Tonna

I am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), registered yoga teacher (RYT-200, Yoga Alliance), certified Lifestyle Medicine Coach (ACLM) and the founder of Wellness Camp, LLC. I completed a masters program in lifestyle medicine and integrative health & wellness at Creighton University. Prior to this career shift, I worked for more than twenty years in high-tech marketing and burnt out. My journey to heal and recover stoked my passion to help others with the same struggles. I live in Northern California with my husband, our two sons and our energetic (and very supportive) dog.

I enjoy spending time with my family, especially out in nature hiking, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, snow shoeing and cross country skiing. I also love fiber arts, painting and reading. A lifelong learner, I am very passionate about continuing to study health, yoga, meditation and more.

The Why

Many people pride themselves on working long hours, being exhausted, sleeping little and pushing harder and harder. There’s a price to pay though. And usually that’s one’s health. A life-work balance can feel impossible sometimes. But we do not have to pay the price with our health and wellbeing.

Solution

We all need to put our health and wellness first if we are going to be succeed in our various roles. We perform better as spouses, friends, parents, employees, and members of society when we prioritize taking care of ourselves. Poor lifestyle habits are the root of weight gain and many chronic, preventable diseases.

MISSION

Using what I’ve learned about nutrition, exercise, stress, and sleep through my graduate studies and personal experiences, I help people live healthier and happier lives. Drop the extra weight. Get one’s health back. Feel energized. Manage stress. Extend the health-span—your healthy years.
